I have painted lots of backgrounds in the past few months but not finished paintings. I’ve been a little depressed and unfocused. But now all these backgrounds are demanding I make art out of them and I’m finding the energy to meet the demands. I love painting people and narratives, but it’s good for me to paint trees. 

So here’s my latest finished painting:
