New Painting: Point of Departure

I’m developing some new ways of painting, following intuition more.  Here’s my latest painting:

  1. This is my first completely intuitive painting. I had no plan and let it develop from shapes in the paint and my own need to make a story out of it. I’m glad it’s speaking to you.

  2. Joy, your latest painting feels ethereal and delicate. I love it. You seem to be able to connect the higher planes with this world and it is really cool. Keep up the great work. I hope your art show is a big success.

    1. Thanks Lynn. We are connected to higher planes, and I try to capture that — I’m glad you see it. Thanks for your continued support. Hope Florida is treating you well.

    1. Thank you so much. I very much enjoyed painting this, even though I didn’t know where it was going. Eventually, loss, grief, and rebirth emerged in the connection between the two figures.
